School Field Trips
Calling all teachers, school administrators, childcare providers and homeschool parents… Schedule your Primrose Farm field trip today! Meet the animals, examine simple machines, milk a cow or try your hand at baking biscuits on the woodstove.
All programs are written in conjunction with curriculum standards, topics and teacher recommendations.
To receive the below rates, groups must bring a minimum of 10 paid participants. Depending on the program, Primrose can accommodate up to 50 participants at a time. Teachers and school aides are free and, for every 10 paid students, 1 chaperone is included for free. If groups bring extra chaperones, they’re required to pay the student rate.

Interested in something a little different?
Want to add something special for your students? For only $2 per student, we can provide a private 30 minute tractor-drawn wagon ride around the fields and fencerows. A great opportunity to unwind before heading back to school!
Looking for a classroom activity to pair with your field trip? Fertilized chicken eggs from our flock of rare Columbian Wyandottes are available for classroom hatching projects each spring. Only $5 per dozen eggs. Plus, we gladly accept return of chicks hatched out of our eggs if they need a home after brightening your classroom. Sign up early for a “Farmyard Friends” tour and have your whole class accompany their chicks back to the farm.
