Summer 2023
Camp counselors have experience working with children and are trained in CPR and First Aid.
After registering, you will receive an eMail from ePACT, the District’s secure emergency network, to create an account and complete medical & emergency contact information.

Junior Farm Camp
Ages 5-7
A unique camp for animal lovers! Learn about life on the farm. Start your day with simple and safe chores while meeting farm animals. Farmyard fun includes playing games, nature walks and exploration along with farm-themed activities. Enjoy a snack grown in the kitchen garden, too.
Camp meets at Primrose Farm, 5N726 Crane Rd. on Tuesday & Thursday from 9am-12pm.

Farm Camp
Ages 8-12
Spend your day outside learning the ins and outs of farming and animal care. Campers will “get dirty” with safe, hands-on experience by milking cows, collecting eggs, grooming horses and feeding livestock. Select afternoons will include churning ice cream, baking items using the woodstove or visiting local parks and pools.
Camp meets at Primrose Farm, 5N726 Crane Rd.
Camp meets Monday-Friday from 8:30am-3:30pm.

Teen Farm Apprentice Camp
Ages 13-15
Perfect for those interested in farming and history. Camp introduces participants to the art of interacting with the public and assisting with programs. The morning session focuses on animal care and information, while the afternoon session covers general topics related to farming and homesteading. Program culminates with families visiting Primrose for a guided tour led by their teen. Participants will be given the opportunity to continue with various volunteer experiences upon completion. Register for one or
both sessions.

Camp meets Monday-Friday from either 8:30am-11:30am or 12:30-3:30pm.
